Purchased first Grinder – “Maxine”
Pat & Connie Huska discovered a niche in creating value from wood waste at the local landfills and mill yards in the Cariboo Region
2000
Relocated to Kelowna
First major contract with The City of Kelowna grinding wood waste for composting program
2002
Purchased second Grinder “Maximus”
Began working with local development projects in the Okanagan
2004
Purchased Morbark Tub Grinder
2006
Launched first bush grind for Highland Valley Copper
Finished ground material was used for mine reclamation work
2008
Purchased Vermeer Grinder the first track mounted machine
The demand for bush grinding increased due to mills closing and Pinnacle Pellet starting to ship pellets overseas. Huska increased bush grinding for mills, Cogeneration Plants and Pinnacle Pellet.

Justin Onboard
Pat & Connie’s son Justin began to manage and expand the company
2015
Chrysta Onboard
Pat & Connie’s daughter Chrysta began to manage the office
2015
Purchased first CBI Grinder to accommodate The City of Kelowna contract
2014 CBI 6800BT – Huska was running two Vermeer grinders and one CBI
2018
Purchased second CBI Grinder
2018 CBI 6800BT – to service the Okanagan region while the other grinders were servicing Northern BC
2020
Purchased 2 additional CBI Grinders
Huska’s first 6400 and another CBI 6800CT – to service the South Okanagan and bush grinding activities in the BC Interior
2021
Slow Speed Shredder
Started working with a Slow Speed Shredder to recover value from other contaminated wood sources
